Altran electronically commutated (EC) motors increase overall electrical efficiency from ~20-30% up to 70% or higher. This significantly lowers electrical operating costs, reduces waste heat dumped into refrigerated spaces, enables variable-speed control (0-10V or PWM), and increases expected bearing service life.
All motor and motorized impeller assemblies undergo 100% automated end-of-line electrical testing (hi-pot, resistance, current draw) as well as dynamic balancing to minimize rotational vibration and operational acoustic noise prior to export packaging.
